Twilight Saga

My new obsession. I fought and fought reading these books. (1) it's not the normal genre for me (2) and there are paranormal elements (also not generally what I care to read) but with that being said I LOVED all of the books in the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer. TWILIGHT, NEW MOON, ECLIPSE, and BREAKING DAWN.

I really really enjoyed reading all of them. The second was the hardest to read (those of you have read it know why) but it was still a fantastic book. BREAKING DAWN is my favorite but I truly enjoyed them all. Edward, Bella, Jacob, Sam... All of the characters are fun to read about.

Twilight the movie is good. I didn't care for it the first time I watched it though. The sequencing of some of the events and how they happened were very different then the book. Once I had more time to not be so involved in reading the books (I saw Twilight right after reading the book so I was still too close to enjoy the movie as a movie). But I now own the DVD and have watched it more times then I can count.

I LOVE seeing the characters on the screen. Wonderful casting for the movie and an excellent sound track. Mark your calendars - Nov. 20th New Moon is scheduled to be released on the big screen.

I am currently re-reading BREAKING DAWN. I am enjoying it as much as the first time I read it - maybe even more.

Dangerous Games by Lora Leigh

So far I've read all but Hidden Agendas in Lora Leigh's Tempting Seals series. So far this is my favorite (but all are wonderful). I enjoyed Clint's story and wished the book was sooooooooooooo much longer. =)

Lora Leigh puts together some hot steamy scenes. No matter what she writes it's a good read.

Clint will remain one of my favorite heros in a romance book.

The hero and heroine in this book had me needing to read more. A page turner from the get go.

If you love to read hot romance this book will give you that.

Wilde Thing by Janelle Denison

This was the first of the Wilde series I read. I LOVED this book. Dennison has a way of pulling you in and you needing to read what happens between the drool worthy guy and the woman who's about to change his life.

A fun and yummy read.

Wicked Ties by Shayla Black

Wickedly fabulous is what I have to say. Hot steamy romance, hot characters, great plot and a happy ending, everything a book should have.

Shayla's writing style, characters and over all creativity is mind blowing. She grabs you in the very first pages of the book and doesn't let go until you feel spent (in the best way possible of course).

The hero and heroine in this book are perfect for each other. The story is gripping from the get go and continues to be throughout the book.

Shayla Black doesn't disappoint to deliver you a great read. Wicked Ties is a page turner - that can't be put down until you've finished.

Currently Reading: A Nameless Witch by A. Lee Martinez

I'm only a few pages into it and already I like it. No I'm not just saying this as I don't promote authors or their works that I don't truely like and enjoy.

To be honest with you a few months ago I may not have given fantasy a chance since I usually read romance. But every now and again it's so nice to read something different. After reading Gil's All Fright Diner and really enjoying it I put A Nameless Witch and In The Company of Ogres on my list of to buys. So today I picked up A Nameless Witch - the last copy on the shelf at the Borders I went to - lucky me for nabbing that last copy. I've been looking forward to reading this one.

I'm really excited to be starting this book. I think that A. Lee Martinez has a very interesting and unique way of putting together his plot and characters. I really enjoyed Gil's All Fright Diner and I'm thinking that I will not be disappointed with A Nameless Witch.

I think A. Lee Martinez is a very creative and talented writer who writes things that I and most people would not have come up with - an inspiration to us all.

A small note to A. Lee Martinez - thank you for creating interesting and unique characters. Characters who even though we may not think we will fall for them - we do and want to read their stories.

Sneak Peek: Watch Me by Shelley Bradley

Wow!!! I would give this story more than two thumbs if I had them. Off the charts yummy!

This book is hot hot hot. That's right. Shelley Bradley has managed to capture my attention yet again with this sexy story. Alejandro and Shanna are very hot together. The first page grabbed my attention and held it through the end. This story is followed by another that I have yet to download but will be doing so. Sneak Peek: Show Me by Jaci Burton. In which we will get to read Del's story - and believe me when say I for sure want to read his story. Looking forward to it.

Back to Watch Me:
When dancing meets club scene - well it will totally grab you. I love to watch dancing but don't understand all the terminology but no worries - the way Shelley Bradley wrote the scenes with the dancing was enough show and not all technical where you can't understand it. Shelley wrote the scenes so that you could visualize what the dancers were doing. And when Alejandro and Shanna put on a show of their own - well lets just say that dancing has never been HOTTER!

This is a sexy read you shouldn't miss. I can't tell you enough how Shelley Bradley manages to pull her readers in on the first page of her stories. Another great story by a very talented writer. I hope one day I'm able to string together words and do scenes as well as she does.

Gil's All Fright Diner by A. Lee Martinez

I was so wrapped up in finishing last night I forgot to turn on the alarm clock. Yes it's true - I just HAD to finish it. I needed to know what happened and how it all ended before I could go to sleep.

While this is not my normal read I will for sure add him on my list of must buys from now on. I really enjoyed the characters, the plot and the humor. The creativity in this book and the things that he came up was very fun to read.

I write romance and usually read romance but I'm glad I tried a different genre. I would say even if you think this book is not one you'd normally pick it up - you should pick it up or one/all of his other books and read them. You may just find like I did you really enjoyed the story and want to read more of his books.
